The IGP was the first Private GP Practice in Wales to be Registered with the HIW (Health Inspectorate Wales).
The Independent General Practice specialises in the provision of bespoke on-site Occupational Health, Health Surveillance and Medical Screening services to all types of organisations from SMEs to large single & multiple site operations, for both private and public bodies. Packages are individually tailored to suit that company's particular needs and are not available via the NHS. We specialise in the prevention and management of short and long term sickness, greatly reducing the consequential loss to a company caused by an employee's absence.
Occupational Health provided by The Independent General Practice differs from traditional Occupational Health provision in one extremely important way. Because the IGP are private GP's as well as Occupational Health advisors, we can, with the consent of both employer and employee, treat as well as advise. This innovative, two dimensional approach has significant benefits for all parties.
The Independent General Practice is Wales' only exclusively private full time GP and Occupational Health Practice.
