The Independent General Practice - Referrals
The IGP was the first Private GP Practice in Wales to be Registered with the HIW (Health Inspectorate Wales).
The Independent General Practice offers a fast track service to allow its patients to arrange to see a Consultant privately, whether covered by their own medical insurance or not.
We are aware of the time taken to arrange a routine appointment with NHS GPs, simply to request a referral letter for secondary care.
The Independent Family Practice have a close relationship with specialist Consultants in all areas of Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy, Counselling etc. We will provide you with your referral letter to the required Consultant and organise an appropriate and convenient appointment for you, before you leave the Practice.
( In most cases we can negotiate a discounted consultation fee on your behalf.)
